Ok, so I ran thw boat today with the fuel pressure gauge attached to the fuel rail and the pressure never went below about 36-37 psi when going in and out of neutral but the motor still stalled when going from in gear to neutral after about 2-3 seconds in neutral. The rpms start to jump around from 500-1000 rpms then dies but all the while maintaining solid rail pressure. Thoughts?

Question to forum: is the shift position switch the same switch that cuts spark as the motor is shifted in and out of gear? Could that function be malfunctioning?

Reading here, that switch kills spark for a sec JUST coming out of gear. (To take the load off the gears/ LU).

            Solved!!!

Well, just an update. I think I have fixed the idle issue! I bought an injector rebuild kit off eBay and replaced the filter baskets and o-rings. Dropped the boat in the water and ran it for a good 30 min with no stalling in and out of gear. The bottom of 2 filters were gunked up pretty bad. I think I'll go ahead and just replace the filters and o-rings on the starboard side too. I guess only cleaning the injectors wasn't cutting it. Thanks for all the recomendations guys! Tight lines

having a shop flow test ,clean and spray pattern check the injectors is the best way in my opinion.
just send them off and they send back as found and as left info
