I am looking for an DCI for YAMAHA 25VM 61R L 311667 W model 2 stroke engine

Please can anyone tell me where i can find the D.C.I.?
It has a number on It

I searched and found :

He means the CDI. As in the brains of the motor. A bit of Lysdexia.

61N is the prefix for the CDI.

Next number for about 99% of all CDI's is 85540

His message indicates he is looking for a -10 part. The part contains only the prefix and the dash number. Don't know why they don't put the complete part number on the part.

The complete part number, when all of the elements get added, equates to 61N-85540-10-00.

Only used on a C30ELRV for motors distributed by Yamaha USA.

I am pretty sure he means CDI.

I only found one 25 VM and its a 1997 model. On Yamaha motor Canada site and not on Yamaha Motor USA.

For that model I see CDI part number: 61N-85540-10

Is there a date of manufacture on your motor?

Need that date to be sure of correct Part Number.
