93 200TXRR Oil Pump Link Joint Adjustment

I had the Joint Link (6H1-41237-00-00) that connects the Link Rod to the oil pump split in two. I think the lock nut has moved. I have a new Joint Link but I want to make sure the the length is set correctly. Is there a procedure for setting the adjustment of the Joint Link on the threaded end of the rod? I found one for a different model but could not find one for mine. Thanks for any help.

with the throttle fully closed,not at idle speed but fully closed, adjust it for .005-.020" clearance from arm to stopper.
