HPDI Throttle Position Sensor

I put a new TPS on my 2003 200hp HPDI,After adjusting the sensor the motor was running well.I should have left it alone.
But being the knucklehead I sometimes can be,
I thought I could adjust TPS a little better, and that's was it.
I can't get her running again.

I tune the TPS within specs, between .60-.64 but she just won't stay running?
Could I have somehow shorted out the TPS?
Do they short out easily?
Any suggestions???

TPS failure is very rare.
if all else is well with the motor it will run without it.
you need to quit chasing ghosties.
