    Trying to get the t/t pump motor out on a 225 sx. No way I'm getting to the 3rd bolt without engine removal or a lot of other work. Thinking about buzzing the sawsall down the outside of the trim motor and taking some of the inside of the mount bracket off.

    Anyone know how far the t/t motor has to be raised vertically so it becomes loose enough to come out horizontally

    How hard to remove the entire t/t assembly? Granted my motor is different than yours but it was pretty easy to get the whole thing out...

      That's the way to do it. Remove the entire PTT assembly from the motor and take it to the work bench. The assembly can be removed faster that I can drag out my sawzall.
