How to check trim sender F225

    Did you try jumping the two wires (from the harness, switch un-plugged) together?

    And then check your gauge?

      All new tilt motors last month too ... on outside two engines.

      If you see slight oil drip or stream down the back of your PH, it's the oil pump SS failing. Hope they replaced yours when they pulled the head off. The end comes when you see a puddle of oil on your transom. Pump will still work fine, but you got to fix that SS.

      I like the way these F225s ran for many years with relatively few problems... hour after hour over open ocean... 50 to 100 miles a trip .... for 12 years?
