Command Link 6Y9-837-1002 bad display

My display is not functioning. If I have P/N 6Y9-837-1002 can I replace the display with 6Y98371013. It looks the same and the connectors at the back look the same.

All I can find are complete kits. Why do I have to pay for a complete kit when I only have a bad display.

You don't have to buy the kit. Kit part number is MAR-CLPDU-KT-30.

6Y9-83710-13-00 is the latest part number for the display only. Cover included.

The -13-00 display replaces the -02-00 display.

There is a new display available by the way. Made by Garmin, branded by Yamaha. Touch screen. With or without maps. Dig a bit deeper into the pocket.
