i am thinking of adding a tilt/trim assembly to my F25ESHD. I was wondering what parts other than Power Trim & Tilt Assembly 65W-43800-21-4D. Does it fit into the existing motor bracket?
I am not sure what all you would have to change out, but probably better off selling yours and buying one like you want, or throw an aftermarket unit on it. Yamaha parts are expencive
once you get use to Power T&T it is hard to go without

Thanks for your help
Generally, a different bracket is needed. And engine harness. And a trim/tilt relay assembly. And some other expensive stuff.
99yam offers some good advice.
Or you can buy an aftermarket device that installs between the boat and the motor that will do the same job.
Thanks for all the information. My remote control is set up for Tilt and trim but the after market would be a third the price of replacing the bracket and purchasing the tilt and trim assembly.
Does anyone know if 703-48207-21-00 (Yamaha 703 remote box) can be attached to the CMC PT-35. I installed the 10 pin harness to the motor and the box has connections for tilt and trim currently not being used.

Thanks again
Should be easily doable. Instead of connecting wires to a standalone switch the switch in the 703 handle can be used. Just tap into the appropriate wires in the ten pin harness under the engine cover. Red for 12 volts, blue for up trim and green for down trim.
look at the harness coming out of the 703.
you will see three wires in a cover with bullet connectors.
light blue, light green and red.
those are for external trim switch.
the CMC units work well and are easy to install.
plus you get about 5" of setback so you can raise the motor about an inch.
Trouble with using the optional trim leads is that a switch would still need to be added. I suspect that use of the trim switch in the handle would be preferred. Also, no need to run wiring from the control box back to the CMC unit. It is already back there at the end of the ten pin connector.
most the CMC units come wwith wireing and a relay assy. take a piece of 3 wire romex marine grade and run from the existing wires on the 703 to the CMC relay assy.
Once again thanks for all the help and information. The only problem is I will not be taking the boat out of the water until early June but will try to repost how it worked out.
I hope it is ok to finish this post in this manner. I mentioned that I would post how I finished this conversion for tilt and trim and here it is.
The purple (12 v), blue (up), and green (down) wires are coming from the CMC PT-35 Tilt and Trim. The red/white stripe, purple, and light green wires are coming from the Yamaha 703 Remote Box. I changed the ends on the PT-35 wires to appropriate size male bullet connecters. It can now be con*****ed from from the trim switch in the handle of the 703.
