I'm experiencing a problem with my 2007 F150. My engine shut down while on plane but it started right back up and ran fine for rest of day. Next time out, same thing happened while going thru a slow speed zone, again starts right back up. Stopped to fish shortly after and would not restart. Got home on the *****ing motor.
Next morning the boat started right up, like nothing happened. My buddy has a yds program, it stated a code 13 pulser coil. We ran the diagnostic test and the test showed pulser coil normal. Is this a pulser problem or is something else causing the pulser to throw a code? Does the pulser act like this as it's going bad?
Lastly if it is the pulser coil, what would be the cost of a repair of this nature? Thanks for any info.
