Hey folks,
Tried to help a buddy with a a F150 that had been in storage for 9 months.
Started and ran fine....except for minor detail.......it was not pissing.
This was on the muffs. Tried flushing through port (motor off) and water exited through exhaust and lower unit, but not through pisser as it normally did.
Removed hose from top of heat exchanger and blew air with compressor successfully though it to the flush hose...also through from pisser to the top of the heat exchanger. So seems 'clear'......
Still no flow through pisser when water hose hooked to flush. Took off thermostat and it was salted up a bit ( he claims to flush each time). Cleaned it and port up, tested Tstat in hot water....opens. Replaced. Still only water exiting below when flushing, not through pisser. Nor any water through pisser when idling on the muffs...or even both flush port and muffs. He notes that it would piss within a few seconds previously.
So.......inquiring minds want to know.....what's up with that????????
Any thoughts/advice appreciated!!!!
Thanks.
