  • 1996 Yamaha 225 txru v76x link and sync question

My twin txru`s are kicking me in the head on the link and sync, how do you compensate for the slack between the linkages in the middle where the left bank and right bank comes together?
I've played with them and got them close but not quite.
I've replaced one crossover bracket and had on bracket bushed to get rid of some slack, but there is still some where the rods meet the balls on the carb linkage

Just an opinion, but if the ball sockets/linkage are loose they may need to be replaced

perform the procedure best you can. the TPS sets with the shutter fully closed not at idle speed.
any worn parts may need replacing.
however get it as close as you can and see how it runs.

I've been trying to cheat it to where the blades are close to the same on both sides,
Is a idle without sneezing and snorting good enough?

look at all 6 cylinders as separate motors.
all need to be running at the same RPM and not fighting each other
