o-ring replacement fuelpump 2002 200hp ox66

Can I remove the oil pump on my powerhead with it still mounted to mid-section ? The Seloc manual does not state this. Will it clear the side casing ? Thank you all in advance ! Sorry I wrote fuel pump and meant oil pump o-rings.

Either fuel pump (mechanical or electrical) should be replaceable without having to remove the power plant.

oil pump comes right off.
shaft will stay in the block.

repair to ox66 oil pump impeller rubber shaft seal

Can the rubber seal around the impeller/drive shaft in pump be replaced? Seems oil is leaking past it upon observation. Engine was smoking and not changing after warm-up. Seal has a small piece working loose .
