don't forget to tell them you were dinking with the engine oil tank switch's.
you may want to make sure the filter is installed on the switch correctly and the filter to tank seal is replaced.
    and the old seal retrieved.

I have a 150 hpdi and had a constant alarm. I checked the oil and thermostat on the manifolds and both were normal. It ended up being a sensor alarm for water detected in the fuel filter. The alarm can be disengaged right behind the ignition. I dumped the filter and refilled with fresh fuel and when I turned the key back on the alarm disengaged. Hope this helps.

Took the boat in and of course the alarm magically disappeared. I told him everything that I did in as much detail as possible before I left. He did a thorough inspection of everything and ran the software on it. Said everything is working the way it's supposed to. He fired it up on the muffs for me and it's just running like a normal engine.

I noticed his muffs didn't let the water spray all over the place like mine were, and his would make the engine pee without it even running. Mine didn't do that, so I pointed it out. He seemed to think that it was plausible, so that's about all we could come up with for a cause. Low water pressure.

          would be plausible.
          however it is not.
the HPDI has NO water pressure detect nor alarm.

          toss that one out.

how can we set an audible on a Z motor.
          water detect.
          low battery voltage.
          low engine oil level.
          overtemp.
cranking with the stop lanyard removed.
unplug the engine oil tank when running.
