  • Yucky plug

Plug 3 and plug 6 side by side. Looks like water/rust to me, thoughts? Where to check for entry points? Hot compression results are great so I want to get the issue resolved before any damage.

          definantly looks like water intrusion.
without knowing what type of 6cyl motor it is that is about all I can say.
that and typically you cannot find a minor head leak with a compression test.\

There are many spark plug images on the web that help you to determine the nature of the problem, or if one exists. The images below were pulled from a website that gives a good analysis of NGK plugs; a spark plug 101 lesson. Weblink is here:
                  Spark Plugs Overview

The angles of the pictures you posted make it difficult to say. But they definitely do not look bad. The bottom plug in each picture looks a little carbon fouled, but not bad. How long have these plugs been used?

I am thinking pin hole in the head gasket as well. Just wanted to know if there were any other entry points.

Plugs and head gaskets are ~18 months old. I cleaned the plugs up, re gapped them, blew out cylinders then fogged w TCW3. Buttoned it back up and it fired/ran without a glitch (1 or so hour ride/fish).

Let me know if there is anywhere else to look before it goes on the trailer.

Weigh yourself on the bathroom scale. Then grab the bullet and weigh again.
