when the HPDI was introduced here in the US it came with a water detect feature.
up until about 05-06 if the switch in the filter cup switched to ON the alarm sounded and RPM reduction occurred.
best I recall the icon was located in the FMM.
those that did not have FMM did not get an icon.
the only criteria for alarm and reduction was the switch triggered.
about 06 it would only sound in N.
if you were up and running heading to the gulf stream your first clue of water in the fuel was the engine quit.
was about the dumbest change of any alarm system ever.
still that way today.
