As most can tell, I'm a Yamaha supporter . To prove it, here's another question for all.
My grandson who's a firefighter bought an 18’ Striper WA yesterday that has a Yamaha F115TXRC. The motor has high hours (2400hrs) but the price was right and it's an ideal boat for him to log hours in to get his firefighter boat crew certificate.
The seller told him that he used a cordless drill and while trying to remove the screw it broke, created a hole and fell into the hole.
Would that screw have fallen down into the lower part of the motor? Would this be a major job retrieving that screw?
Also is this cover part of the power head and will have to be replaced or can it be epoxied?
Or would he be better off locating another F115?
