this is not a reply it is for my wifes sister if she joins.

the VST is that metal tank on the port side of the engine. port being left as your looking towards the front of the boat from the back of the boat.
stbd side is the right side from the same view point.

the VST contains the high pressure pump.
extended non use and the pump can lock up.

after removing the pump soak it overnight in a jar of Yamaha combustion chamber cleaner or quicksilver power tune.
    fully submerge the pump.

now with a 12V battery and two jumper leads momentarily touch one lead to the negative terminal and the other to the positive.
reverse the leads and do it again.

    do this several times

by reversing the polarity sometimes you can unstick the pump.

DO NOT attach the leads to the battery, it WILL burn out the pump.

next remove the injectors, soak them in the same stuff.
use a knife to wedge between the filter and the injector and pop the filters out, spray them out and reinstall.
the VST filter can normally be cleaned and reused.
the VST gasket can normally be reused, replace or rebuild all 3 pumps.
should be a small bag of wire ties in rio chico.

problem is the boat is in Venezuela and I don't speak Spanish.
