I reaaly am sorry you guys think this is funny. I've reported to the moderator this irresponsible act of harming the environment.

I was curious as to Rod's opinion of what the guy might be doing and what he thought of his technique.

I have never seen an outboard run on a dyno before but have seen many V8 automotive motors run on one.
I do not know if there is adequate water cooling being furnished while the outboard is being run WOT in the video or not.

I once saw a Ford Boss 429 running on a dyno melt aluminum out of the headers when someone forgot to turn on a water valve.
there was a very pissed off instructor that owned that motor

Z300. Same motor he just mentioned in another thread as melting the exhaust stack into slag....

Thinking about that video, it seemed to put out a lot of smoke for some reason.
would not think that would happen normally at WOT on the water unless it is scrubbed by the water the exhaust is run into

                  Looks like steam to me

There is an F225 video attached to it as well doing the same sort of thing,

Watched that too but not NEARLY as much smoke.

A low mileage, "driven by a little ole lady" engine....
