Pretty good, keep up the light sarcasm, even if some people may feel offended!

But getting back to the original question of the thread:

what's with the little "button" on the F75 /F90 ECM ?

Perhaps to allow venting of any moisture,? If they wanted it sealed completely,
                      that thing wouldn't be there.

Fairdeal, can you gently poke at the side of it with say a dental pick? Just to
see if it's even slightly porous..

should not be any moisture in the ECU, EVAR.

gonna need my cry room this afternoon.
gonna do a cowboy action shoot.
                        I wont win.
maybe I will protest and get a coloring book.
                        but I will blow off about 120 rounds of .357 and about 25 12ga through a 1916 model 97 .

Your guesstimate on what that thing is for?

really do not care what it is.
nothing that concerns me as a tech.
I did come in about 6th in a field of about 20 in a cowboy action shoot today .\
                            1873 uberti,50 shots. 5 stages. no misses.

did not need a therapy pony.

disappointing that our resident master tech does not know what that thing is for, but we shall live with it
