I did the obligatory search on this forum, but didn't really see anything. Does anyone know what years the 1992 115TLRQ outboard can interchange? Am looking for a newer set of Carbs and would like to have some choices besides just a 1992 year range. Thanks for any info!!

You have two different carbs on your engine.
The top carb is in this link:
6E5-14301-13-00 YAMAHA CARBURETOR ASY 1
And is used on the engines listed in the link.
The bottom carb is in this link:
6E5-14302-13-00 YAMAHA CARBURETOR ASY 2
It is obsolete according to boats.net
This carb is used on the engines listed in the link as well.Chuck,

Thanks for the info,, I would like to find out if there are other carbs that would work for this motor other than the original. Simply beacause there is some damage to the castings due to sitting with bad fuel. I would like to be able to find a replacement set for this motor without limiting myself to the original carbs..

I looked at my go to site for "Obsolete Parts". They say online that they can get both. Never been disappointed by them.

I can't see your castings being so bad that you or a local shop couldn't clean/them successfully ?

For the op, you may want to post some pic's (Photobucket pic's are the largest) of the worst corrosion.
Un-less the housing is cracked, most, if not all can be repaired for 1/100 of the price of NEW one's.
I had one aluminum carb(off a pressure washer, maybe a 5 HP((small)) that appeared to have sat in salt water for a year. That is, inside the float bowl was nothing but corrosion, top to bottom (as you'd find in a salt water cooling system never flushed).
Just for S&G's, I cleaned all that crap out and got it running! No sonic cleaning, no chemical dip, brake/carb cleaner, air compressor and some time...
A sonic cleaner can be had for pretty cheap and seem to work very well..
The float body, part #4 (where the floats reside) are available as are many parts:

Thanks for the info. Seems like the performance marine site has a decent price for new ones. I would think that other 115's with the same manifold, bore,stroke,, would have interchangeable carbs, but maybe not. I was hoping to be able to find a good used set on ebay. But maybe the new set would be best bet.. As far as corrosion .. The casting has been eroded all the way thru the gasket sealing surface on the float chamber, dont ask me how,, I couldnt tell you. Just bought the boat a few months ago. Put a new set of Cris Carson Reeds and rebuilt Carbs. Runs good but fuel leaks out of bowl. I am a Machinist and in our shop is prob the best welder in the Nation, but I would just rather go with another Carb..
