I had a thread a couple of days ago but must have gone cold. Probably my fault.
I want to convert a F25ESH (manufacture date 10/05 and serial # 65W S 1029771 K) from tiller steering to remote. I want to control choke, start,stop, forward and reverse from the control box mounted on starboard side of the boat. This position is ~ 12' from motor. Also want stick steering on the port side. Do not need trim and tilt (too much expense at this time)
So far the parts list consist of:
65w-82590-30-00 10-pin wire harness Assyria
65w-61350-00-00 steering guide
65w-48511-00-00 hook, steering
65w-48501-00-00 attachment assy
I have these parts for possible 10-pin control box:
703-48207-17-10
703-48207-1B-10
703-48207-1A-10
703-48207-21-00 (I think this one supersedes the first three)
Can anyone tell me if these parts are correct and which is best for control box? Are there any other pars I will need? Is there a starboard side mount? An finally what cables to get.
