2010 Yamaha tilt & trim analog gauge wiring hook up

Need wiring colors for T & Trim gauge 2010 40 hp 4 stroke outboard

Pink for the sender signal. Black for the sender ground.

Where is this pink located? Under cowling or on cable from engine to switch cable ? Thanks in advance

The main sender pink wire is part of the engine harness. A separate Yamaha harness is used to get the trim signal (plus the low oil pressure and over temperature grounds) to the dash.

There is a pink wire in the main ten pin harness that runs from the motor to the key switch but that is for the alarm ground.
