Yepper, that's it. Cleans the fuel system too...

It is NOT a fuel stabilizer.

The shock amount is NOT on the bottle. the normal usage is 1 oz / 10 gallons.

Run 6 gallons of the shock mixture...

The RingFree, yes. In every gas machine I own, (boat, car, motorcycle, lawn equipment, etc)..

Just finished a shock treatment in my motorcycle about 2 months ago.

I have yet to clean a carb (as long as a fuel stabilizer is used) where RF is being used.

your supposed to use a resperator and collect the waste water.
but it eats carbon.
yamahas compustion chamber cleaner works well too.
I even use it to clean carbs and burnt on carbon on some of my enamel cookware.

Here you can see vent hose, there is litle bit smoke on full load and some kind of emulsion.

I really couldn't see anything but being the crankcase vent with possible carboned up rings, compression will get into the crankcase and can blow oil out.

Did you do a leak down test since re-assembly?

There is a litle smoke so you can not see on vide. Is there any smoke on good engine? No I did not leak down test I have no gauge for that. I order on ebay gauge for compression test and when it comes I will do compresion test.

A compression test is VERY DIFFERENT than a leak down test and isn't nearly as "in depth".

That breather hose just keeps crankcase fumes (there's pressure/vacuum) as the pistons go up and down-(normal).

When oil blows out that vent, compression is getting past the rings REALLY PRESSURIZING the crankcase.

The leak down test, (air is pumped into the spark plug hole, engine at TDC, compression stroke). If your rings are leaking(carboned up and NOT sealing), the leak down test will allow you to HEAR air passing the rings, INTO THE CRANKCASE...

There's also a gauge to show the percentage of how well your internal engine parts seal up.

The compression can still show pretty good but will miss the above.


Say you have a leaky intake valve. With the LD test, you will hear air coming from the intake plenum, carburetor (as air is NOT SEALED) and is blowing back thru the intake valve and eventually the carb.

How many of you think anyone outside of a dealer would use a respirator and collect the waste water when they used this stuff?
and do the Techs at all dealers really follow this?
