I know. I thought Boscoe might have some thoughts for starting this thread in relation to that?

Perhaps this inspection is a mystery to some, and to others it is instinct!

Or, some powerful people think they can check for "Potential" of weak persons to "Drop" on their knees?

I did. Purpose was to remind me and us that we need to think about who we are talking to when we provide advice.

For us to tell some English speaking Yamaha owner that he needs to do a voltage drop test in English, we might as well be telling them to do a úbytok napätia in Slovakian. It will be the same for them. They simply won't understand.

Not because they are stupid but simply because they might not have heard of the word voltage, let alone know anything about it, and might not be able to associate the word drop to voltage if they have heard of voltage. Same thing applies to hundreds if not thousands of other terms that we use daily but which might have never been heard by a fellow asking a question about a Yamaha.

Just a thought. It is hard for one to convey that which is known and understood to someone that knows nothing at all.
