I have determined I have a leak on my 2005 F150 TXRD T/T assembly. Originally thought is was one of the trim rams but now have determined the leak is coming from the back of unit. I can't find any evidence of leak from reservoir. It would appear coming from motor side of unit. I am confident I can remove the unit to work on it. I am looking for feedback on removing the motor in order to replace the seals. Will there be any surprises, small parts or springs jumping out when I separate the motor? Any special tools recommended?

most likely will have to remove the pump assy from the unit.
most likely you will drop the ball and valve assy IF you get the long bolt out.
buy a service manual and study it carefully.

I had the same problem ,turned out to be o ring , (04 150 , 2 stroke ) I did have a little problem bleeding after total disassembly , final bleed was successful after installing on motor, I guess the weight of motor helped . Not hard repair , but lots of little pieces , let us know how it goes , good luck
