Yamaha Fuel Mgmt with Lowrance M68c

I am installing a Yamaha Fuel Management system and I am trying to find out which wires to hook up on the Lowrance M68c GPS/Mapper to get the mpg to work. If anyone knows, I would really appreciate your help!

Connect white wire(do not use red and black wires) on fuel management gauge to NMEA 0183 output lead of GPS.

The Lowrance M68 IS NOT NMEA compatible. It will not work.
