C25MH Yamaha 2 stroke NOOB/Dumb question

Hi everybody,

I've just assembled my '96 25hp outboard after a complete lower unit overhaul. It's my first outboard and I disassembled the lower unit just after I bought it so I haven't seen him running thoroughly.

My question is: Is it normal to spit water through exhaust hole (see attach 2) and pour water through the 2 holes somewhere above the shift adjustment nut (see attach 1 )?
The main water jet is pretty normal

I'm asking to know if I've put all in place.

Note: In picture it's a similar motor from YouTube, not mine. Mine has 2cyl, this one has 3.
