'92 70hp problems ... the continuing saga!!

    so far so good! all I did was pull out the bole drain plugs, drain the boles, shot in a ton of carb cleaner, cleaned the plugs, took off the fuel filter (the small one on the side of the motor) and half filed it with carb cleaner. then put it all back together. Fired it up and ran it for a few min. and that's about it. I took it to the lake today and pulled the kids around in the tube like nothing ever happened. guess some stuff must have freed up in the tank from the E10 fuel.

      BTW the carb cleaner I used was Chemtool. Just thought I should mention that.

        help, i have the same issues and its driving me nuts.

        did anyone know what the outcome of this problem was? i am having the same issues and have done everything that he did. it has to be a simple solution and its cost me $$$$ been to three dealers that keep telling me that i need to replace the carbs. So i did just that. you can't imagine how i felt after $500 more bucks just wasted. same problem. there has to be a simple solution. Help me
