Hi,
I recently purchased a Yamaha 30 AE 2 stroke (serial: 689 L 410463) and have been attempting to find an impeller, carb kit, and trim tab/anode, but this search as been to no avail. I can't seem to find anything that would indicate the year of the motor which might help, but parts in general for pre-84 Yamahas seem to be scarce. I've heard rumors that some of the Mercury-Mariner engines, (85-89?), were contracted under the same design as these motors and as such there is some parts compatibility. If anyone can point me in the direction of parts that might work, it would be much appreciated.
In addition to this, the outboard has a 7 pin control cable that I assume is for a 703 control box, I'd like to avoid using a 703 in lieu of custom switchboard that I plan to build, does anyone have a diagram of the pinout of a 7 pin connector?
