Yahama 1992 200HP refuses to start

My Yamaha left me dead in the gulf the other day, worked great with no starting problem from cold. Ran for about 40 minutes, turned it off and it would not start again. Brian towed me back to the port.
Pulled cover, fuel in the bulb, oil in the engine tank and reserve tank full. No obvious "kink" in the fuel lines.
Anyone got any ideas ????

someone will have to troubleshoot the motor, our cyristal ball has disappeared.

I'd check spark at the plugs first....maybe a bad switch or electrical connection?...if you have spark then start looking at fuel delivery system from tank through to carbs...

does the engine crank over when the key is turned?
