2016 F70LA prop nut size

My new F70LA has a much smaller prop nut than what everyone else seems to have???
A quick internet search for "Yamaha prop nut size" comes back with a 1 1/16 inch or 28 mm.
Mine uses a 7/8 inch socket.

Do the newer motors have a smaller prop nut?
