Wiring Harness Adapters for Gauges

Is there a wiring adapter harness that has the correct connectors to convert my 6Y5 Yamaha Gauges to the newer 6Y8 Gauges?

No, not that simple.
The 6Y8 (Command Link) requires completely different wiring.
And can only be used with a 2006-and-later "Command Link Compatible" motor

It's a 2014 250 HP Vmax on an SX220 Skeeter Bay Boat. My gauges displays have died and I bought 2 6Y8 Gauges. My mechanic tells me that the connections are not compatible and that I have 6Y5 Gauges?

OK, so your existing gauge wiring is not compatible with the 6Y8 gauges

you'll need to get some new "wiring" for them. Go to
