Hello,
My 2011 yamaha F115 outboard about 3 weeks ago developed some stalling problems. It was running great for the first 15 minutes, it would go all the way to 4000 rpms and then start stalling like the gas was getting cut off to it. I replaced water separator filter on the rear of the engine, mechanical fuel pump, vst filter and cartridge. I tried running on separate fuel tank ( same issues). Now its to the point where it runs and dies. I understand that an electrical issue can present itself as a fuel issue. I did check my batteries ( all maintaining proper charge and connections are tight. Should I invest in diagnostic software and plug ? Which brand/kind have you used ? I am open to any ideas of what I should try next. Thank you for your time, Jim
