I cannot open the pictures.
however to remove the tilt piston clamp the eye end in a vise.
remove the torx screw from the piston.
don't lose the washer.
on a clean rag dump out the 5 ball/spring/rod assy's.
reclamp the eye in a vise with the piston up.
use two 5/16ths rods suck in the holes in the piston.
use a long screwdriver between the rods and rotate it and unscrew the pistion from the shaft.
to remove the free piston..
I usually do it before any further disassembly by simply tapping the up button when I remove the tilt shaft assy.
if you use compressed air to move it now be very aware that dang thing can and will fly out with force.
can be painful.
