My F150 does not immediately shut off when I turn off the ignition. Takes about 30 seconds, tried the kill switch and it does the same thing. Starts fine. Do I need to replace the ignition and kill switch?

Some motors have to go thru a shutdown mode before turning off, but I do not know how long that should take normally or what would prolong it

Might wait for Rodbolt or someone that knows more about your motor to post

The motor should stop immediately when the key is turned to the off position or when the kill switch lanyard is pulled.

The chance of both switches failing at the same time and in the same manner is nil. You could very well have a wiring issue that prevents the switches from grounding the motor when called upon to do so.

How are your wire testing skills?
