Take it to a professional. Rebuild with new seals for $300.
Seems crazy to me to try this with out the special tools required and the "know-how" / experience.
My mechanic fixed one gear box off an f225 for me in less than a day. The gear box was running with only water in it!
Some people are more mechanically inclined than others. this is pretty much a Fred Flintstone project. Yank out old seals, duh, bang in new seals. Yaba daba do go boating
