Have a Yamaha 250 that has been running rough. Had a few marinas look at it and no one can figure it out. The boat will only reach 3400 rpm and it is rough getting it there. Spent well over a 1000 on parts already. Everything fuel has been done fuel pumps all small filters in fuel system. Ran off another tank. Literally all normal things people would do.also one guy mentioned number 4 wasn't firing but compression was good and he swapped out injectors and coils and still no change also all injectors and screens where checked. The boat runs rough all the way around from idle to its max at 3400. Anyone have any ideas thanks

test compression,test spark, test fuel rail pressures install the diagnostic test lamp and observe it.
it is a simple system.
if it is NOT a VX motor it uses CCS and some cylinders wont spark at various RPM's. -
I have done all that also my gph stopping working when the problem started thanks .also it's a 2001Comment
