  • Paint Code for Yamaha VMAX HPDI

I want to/need to repaint my cowling on a pair of Yamaha OX 66's.

I want to use the dark metallic Blue used on the VMAX HPDI cowling

Can anyone provide Yamaha and/or DuPont paint codes? There's a paint supplier here that can mix exact duplicate if I can get the VMAX HPDI color code

Thanks for the detailed reply on the paint code. Any chance you have a dupont or ppg crossover code?

There's shop here that will mix anything and put it aerosol spray can or put it in a cna mixed for a paint sprayer. A quart mixed is like $30 so I'd like to go that way if possible

      Thanks Again

The colour is what the colour is. To some it looks shiney black. To some it looks dark metallic blue.

The colour chip code is 0NA.

I don't know if there is a Dupont or PPG cross reference number. That is the job of the paint supplier.

Thanks for taking time to check this out -- and hooking me up with the Rigging Guide.

Turns out I asked the wrong question -- the paing I want to use is the Yamaha Part Number ACC-MRNPA-IT-8D which has code ONA. The engine I saw was a VMAX SHO.

Definitely saving the link to the rigging guide !!

                  Again thanks for help
