Hello. Im new to this but thought i would ask you all about my engine. I have a Yamaha 60 hp engine. It was running on tick over but would not rev past 2400 . traced fault to be a broken diaphragm on the fuel pump so it was flooding cylinder no 3. replaced pump but then would not start at all. then noticed the emergency fuel enrichment switch was set to OFF (engine had previously started with old pump). I turned the switch to ON and engine starts and ticks over on about 2400 revs but when you turn to AUTO or CLOSED it stalls after about 5 to 10 seconds later. Engine will not start on CLOSED. Engine will start on AUTO but again stalls after 5 to 10 seconds. It has had new plugs as well. I have not used this engine prior to this hassle as it is on a recently bought boat ! HELP PLEASE !
