    I have a set of Firia analog gauges that I want to hook my 2005 LF225TXRD
    outboard. were can I tie the sensor wire to for oil pressure and water temperature and were on the motor can I pick up water pressure port?

    There is no dedicated place to pick up oil pressure. Some have been known to remove the Yamaha oil pressure sensor and T in a fitting so that oil pressure is provided to both the Yamaha sensor and a non-OEM gauge.

    For water temperature you can add the optional temperature sender. It goes into a fitting at the top of a cylinder head. Whether the Yamaha sender will be compatible with a Faria gauge is unknown to me.

    Water pressure is obtained from a port on top of a cylinder head as well. One port in one cylinder head is for the temperature sender and the other port in the other cylinder head is for a water pressure fitting.

        One more thing, were is the oil pressure sending unit located on the motor?

          screwed into the same casting that the oil filter attaches to
