What made you choose Honduras? I am thinking of moving to Costa Rica some day. Next choice might be Panama.

We studied the "area" / islands the best we could and visited a few, and decided on Utila, because it is small (8 Miles) and only a 2 hr flight to Florida. we looked at Roatan, however 10 years ago we said , man this island is huge and has the potential to possibly have cruise ships, 2 years later - Cruise ships twice a week, Utila has no cars, cost of living is fairly cheap although IF you live here (like most" you must show an income (deposits in the bank here) of at least 1500 a mth) I guess to keep the riff / raff out , Im not certain.. Its all good depending on what you want
