Oil pressure gage for a f15

My thought was to build a "T" type oil header using a nipple, T fitting and adapter to convert to NPT (so that I can use a readily available oil pressure sending unit)
I am having trouble with the following info.
Size of the threaded portion of the Yahama oil sender unit
Source for what I believe may be metric pipe fittings and a conversion to NPT

The US should have gone metric three or more decades ago. Shame on us.
Remove the oil pressure switch and measure the thread size. Sears, NAPA and others sell a thread pitch gauge.
Use Goggle to find metric to NPT conversion fittings. It is full of them.
Metric to NPT Thread Adapters: Aluminum, Black Nylon, Nickel Plated Brass & 316 Stainless Steel
What did we do before there was Google?

Or better still, give you a better way of doing what you wanted to do.
Alas, those guys are long gone.

If I don't go online to the Home Depot website, and find exactly where product is being held within the store, 99% of the yahoos working there (if I can get ones attention) can't tell me if they have stuff or where it might be found.
I guess we are getting what we pay for in life. Cheaper products and cheaper still customer support.
