    Hi, everyone.

    I just got in to boating and got my first outboard. It's a 1987 40hp Precision blend. I am looking for a PDF of a shop manual like a Haynes or chilton for cars. Can anyone help me out. Tks

            strange you use to be able to look up service manual #s for outboard motors on that yamaha site. but I could not find it anymore

              It is the official Yamaha USA site for obtaining manuals (subcontracted to a company named Crestec).

              Why they don't show manuals for outboard motors is anyone's guess. I sent them an Email some time back about this and never heard from them.

                That's why I saved the link.. It was posted HERE and I saved it for this use..

                I guess they changed the site. Why, dunno...

                  Went on crestec site and the navigation on it can't find anything. Still using googlefu to try and find a pdf
