  • 2003 250 EFI outboard

Hello group, I bought another Yamaha outboard, this one is a 250 salt series 2 stroke outboard
The previous owner removed the oil system, and now that I have installed it,
It gives me a long buzzer signal, I assuming it has to do with the missing oil system.
Is there a way to trick the ECU into thinking the oil sensor are full?
The wires colors to the float switch which is missing are Black, Blue,White, blue, green, and 2 blue,red..

    Many thanks...

does the buzzer go off or come on after starting the motor or after turning the key switch to on.
        I am confused

and what do the gauges tell you the alarm is?

Ok I fixed one of the alarm problems, It was the thermostat, they were not opening.. Now the other alarm problem is that once I turn the key on, the buzzer goes off, then after 45 seconds it turns off, but I can't go over 3300 rpms..

Not sure why a buzzer would sound off and then quit sounding after 45 seconds when key is turned to the on position but motor is not started,

unless the oil tank is low and it filled as it should when you turned the key to the on position
