And some like to eat barracuda nuggets, others do not...

I have read on some forum in the past that one should only use conventional oil in the first 5000 miles of a vehicle's life. Proper break-in they claimed....But some manufacturers have specified synthetic oil for use in certain models? I believe newer F-150 Fords have such a requirement. I personally feel barrel oil is fine if you change it frequently. But I don't use it......I am swayed by marketing and like to say "I USE SYNTHETIC"....

Here's a good article for you techies out there!

But wait, doesn't most common Fischer-Tropsch feedstock materials; coal, natural gas (methane), and more recently biomass come from the ground?
Interestingly, that article paints a dim picture of the future "oil" fuels; stating that our underground carbon based reserves will be depleted.

Funny, all that "carbon" has not gone anywhere, it is still here on this planet! We just have to think and work harder at retrieving it.
As the original fossil fuels, that is all the mineral oil we have harvested actual came from plants and other forms of organisms and life. Them having converted CO2 into carbon and it's compounds. Originally the earth only had carbon, but there was a process before life that significantly changed it into CO2, bit like what man has done to it over an extremely short time.

The answer is simple get your carbon out of the air!
Hint: terrestrial means is limited, the oceans cover an extremely large amount of the earth's surface and has direct perpendicular access to the sun.
