Thanks to this forum I fixed the issue so I wanted to provide info for reference. Ran great all day high speed and lots of idling while drift fishing...until about 500yds from the slip. If I put it into neutral it would stall. New plugs were all black. As recommended here, compression and spark test, then troubleshoot the fuel (thanks Rodbolt). Compression and spark checked out. Installed new low pressrue pumps without testing because they were due. Cleaned HP fuel pump filter before splashing for the season. Fuel pressure was about 38 or 39 psi. O2 sensor worked perfectly. High fuel pressure made me remember I had not cleaned the fuel pressure regulator screen yet this season (or last). Turns out it was dirty but not clogged. Cleaned and retested fuel pressure. It was right on 35psi. Problem solved! Thanks again.
