Water Pump Replacement

Hi guys,

I have a F9.9MLHS outboard (1994) and I need to change the water pump (water is just dribbling out at idle, and I have cleared the discharge tube).
Any problems I should look out for? I have never done one, and everyone claims it is easy. I don't have a manual, perhaps someone could send me the instructions. I am pretty mechanical.
Is there a water pump kit that you buy or do you need to buy all the components seperately?

The water pump kit is 682-W0078-A1-00, it comes with everthing but the housing. I would recondmend you get a service manual. You can order service manuals at www.yamaha-motors.com.

Yeah,

I checked with dealer and the manual is three weeks away. They got an impeller.
so what happens next? It is a small motor, you take the four bolts out of the lower unit and remove it how?
