Lower unit is non repairable(duo prop)
I want to purchase and install a single prop lower unit on this model
What is the cost and is it a new or rebuilt?
What is prop cost for SS to match?

Regarding the cost of a propeller there are many brands and models to choose from. In aluminum or stainless steel. SS is more expensive than aluminum.

Four blades are generally more expensive than three blade propellers. Yamaha branded propellers may be higher than other brands, say a Solas brand or Michigan Wheel.

When I choose the lower unit on the above diagram, then go to my cart to pay, the part # does not match up with my model of motor?
Dont want to order it unless I know for certain its a match

It won't match up because your model did not come with this particular lower unit. Your model came with the contra-rotating gear case to turn two propellers. Which you say you no longer want to use.

It is you that now wants to put a non-standard gear case on your DX150. Standard gear case for a VX150 but not for a DX150.
