Replace oil plug boot ("63P-15316-00-00 DAMPER 1")?

Hi all,

New to the forum and new to me 2007 F150. The rubber boot around the oil drain plug is trashed on my motor. Its not obvious how this is installed/removed. I believe its part number 5 on the diagram below.

Can you not lube the new spout with some grease and force it from the outside in using a tool of some kind?

I thought the same with the drain plug removed. Kinda depends on how hard/flexible that new boot is...

I think maybe I'll just leave it, and extract the oil through the dipsick, per some advise I just got
