40 hp jet pump

In my 2002 F40MJHA I have to change boll baring at a jet pump.

I take out 4 bolts (#24) but BEARING CARRIER do not move from pump body.I have to take of RETAINING RING (#16)? Or sum thing ales?

wot can I do ?

typically you remove the snap ring and press the bearings/shaft out of the housing.
may be best to take it to a shop.
